My Blog Anniversary

I cannot believe that it has been one year since I started the blog Children of the Church!  It started off as a place for me to write about our new journey with homeschooling and our little family trying to live out the liturgical year in our home.  In this past year blogging has allowed me to have a place to express ideas and feelings, capture fun events and memories in our lives and also "meet" so many great people!

I know that over the past year I have had a lot of new people visit me here at this place, so as I celebrate this Blog Anniversary I wanted to go back through the past year of blogging to share with you some of my favorite posts, some of the most popular posts and even ones that maybe only a few people read the first time around (but that I like!)

Most Read Posts

Well, I'm not sure if it is just the people who read my blog the most but my homeschooling posts are definitely the most "popular" in terms of numbers of people who read them!  Here have been the most read posts at Children of the Church this past year!

Most Meaningful Posts

Coming in at a close second in popularity come what were the most meaningful posts to me over the past year, and that is the posts that I wrote about the loss of our baby Samuel by miscarriage.  I still find it as almost a gift that God had nudged me to start this space on a blog which turned out to be such an amazing outlet to talk about our miscarriage.  Thank you, to each and every one of you who prayed for our family and most importantly for the many, many people who have reached out to me since I wrote about our experience to ask questions and help you through your own losses.  It has been an honor and blessing to me to be included in your lives in this special way.
