We celebrate the Feast of St Francis of Assisi on October 4th and we simply love this special saint! To celebrate this feast day we read St Francis of Assisi and also read the book The Good Man of Assisi and completed the correlating Catholic Mosaic activities with it! Another fun activity that we did was this coloring sheet from Pbgrace!
We then watched the CCC movie Francis: The Knight of Assisi. We simply adore all of CCC of America's Saints and Heroes Videos and this one is a new favorite! Finally, since St. Francis the patron saint of animals we decided to have a special party for the special animals in our lives! We have two loving dogs and on this day to celebrate we gave them each a Saint Francis dog tag and lots of special dog treats! We had a great time celebrating this awesome Saint!
