After our day at Hollywood Studios we were not sure if our 15 month old was tired or getting sick. Well, after the evening we had with him we think it was a little of both. Plus, to add to his sickness our 3 year old also woke up the next morning with a high fever as well. We still had one more day of park tickets so we decided to split up for the day and my husband took our oldest two back to Magic Kingdom and I stayed at our hotel with our youngest two children.
My husband had a blast with the big kids and they all spoke of how although they really missed all being together as a family it was definitely different being at the park without needing to have a stroller and small kids to attend to. They had a really great time and got to go on a lot of rides! They were able to go on a lot of rides that we did not go on the first day at Magic Kingdom and also went on a few repeat rides as well. They went on Pirates of the Caribbean, The Jungle Cruise, the Ferry Boat to Tom Sawyers Island, Swiss Family Treehouse, Big Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, the Barnstormer, Buzz Lighter Space Ranger Spin, Dumbo and more!
I on the other hand was back with little ones who had fevers, were throwing up and were exhausted. Thankfully the both slept for most of the day and by the end of the day they were both feeling much better!
The little ones being sick gave me some time to catch up on our laundry, pack for our trip home and also have a little down time myself! It was a bummer that we couldn't all be together for the last day of our vacation, but we were all glad that the kids got sick at the end of the trip instead of the beginning and also that they started feeling better before our plane rides home!
We had so much fun that we are already thinking of when we can go back to Disney World again!
